Before beginning any work, we will inspect for your roof, getting a full understanding of what is required for the roof restoration in terms of replacing any tiles, re-bedding or re-pointing, any repair work, any moss or lichen that need to be removed
Next, we will use a high-pressure washer to clean your roof. We use an environmentally friendly method of using lay-flat hosing.
If required, any ridgecapping is re-bedded. The ridge-capping is rebidded with a flexible acrylic pointing mix.
We will now apply a sterilisation spray to the roof. This stops any algae or moss from regrowing on the roof.
A primer is applied to the roof using an airless spray gun. By applying this primer to the tiles, it ensures that the final coats of the roof membrane paint will stick to the tiles. Ensuring no chances of the paint flaking off.
The coloured roof membrane paint is now applied, once again using an airless spray gun. We apply x2 coats of Roof Membrane Paint that ensures maximum protection from your home.
The entire roof is inspected for damage and preparation requirements.
The roof is high pressure washed with water directed away in an environmentally friendly manner using lay-flat hosing as required.
Specialist corrosion control primers are installed where required. System options for Galvanised, Zincalume® or precoated metal.
All rusted and damaged roof screws and fittings are replaced prior to the roof being coated with roof membrane.
Two coat application of AcraTex Roof Membrane provides ultimate protection, durability and weatherproofing.
